AVANCE offers Early Head Start programs for children ages 6 weeks to 3 years old, including expectant mothers.

All families wishing to enroll in Early Head Start must:

• Be income eligible by meeting the requirements of the Federal Poverty Guidelines


• Live within the zip codes that they service(77009, 77093, 77022 or PISD School Boundaries)


• Have up to date immunizations, as well as child exams and dental exams for the children applying.

They also reserve 10% of their enrollment for children with special needs and assist in providing or securing the proper resources to aid in the development and education of these children and their families.
