About this PreSchool

The Burlington Children's Space, housed in the McClure Multi-Generational Center, is a NAEYC accredited program offering early care and education for children from 6 weeks to 5 years old. Programming is based on influences from Reggio Emilia, Italy, the interests and curiosities of the children, and the unique culture and resources of our local community. BCS is dedicated to serving all populations and tuition is based on a sliding scale.

Women who are pregnant and families with children ages 0-5 may enroll in Early Head Start or Head Start if:

• The family receives any of the following public assistance benefits: Reach Up (RUFA), Childcare Subsidy, Family Support Subsidy, or Supplemental Security Income (SSI);


• The child or pregnant woman is in foster care; OR


• The family is homeless; OR


• The family meets federal income-guidelines.

Champlain Valley Head Start can also enroll a limited number of families who do not meet the conditions listed above. Please fill out an application to determine whether your family qualifies for Head Start or Early Head Start services!
