Location: Harris County TX

Head Start Programs provide continuous, intensive, and comprehensive child development and family support services to low-income pre-school children and their families.

Interested parents should contact a Head Start school for more information about attending a meeting.

Documents Needed for Registration:

• Birth Certificate
• Proof of income (2009 1040 or W-2 Tax forms;TANF or SSI award letter)
• Proof of address (lease agreement or utility bill)
• Current immunizations (including TB Skin Test and results for children aged 1 year and above)

Paperwork for children with disabilities:

• Social Security Card for applying child
• Photo identification for parent or guardian

HoursM-F 8:00am - 3:00pm, Sat Closed, Sun Closed.

Albury Head Start is open from August until June each year.

The center will be closed on major holidays including:

3. Independence Day
4. Labor day
5. Thanksgiving Day
6. The Day After Thanksgiving
7. Christmas Eve
8. Christmas Day.
