About this PreSchool

Head Start is a national program that promotes school readiness by enhancing the social and cognitive development of children through the provision of educational, health, nutritional, social, and other services to enrolled children and families.

At East Coast Migrant Head Start Project, they provide a full array of Head Start services to migrant and seasonal farmworker families.

East Coast Migrant Head Start Project (ECMHSP) was established in 1974 to provide continuity of Head Start services to children of migrant farm workers on the east coast of the United States.

They serve children ages birth to five years whose families qualify based on the federal poverty income guidelines and the federal definitions of migrant and seasonal farm workers.
