Requirements to enter the head start program:

• The Head Start Program is a program free of charge for people with low income.
• Therefore their program has to follow
• The Head Start Family Income Guidelines that are set by
• The United State of America poverty guidelines.

However, when you come to one of their sites you will have to bring a

• W-2 form that states your yearly income
• New York State Photo ID or the New York Drivers License
• TANF stipend award letter
• Social Security award letter
• Forster or kinship guardian or providers must provide their agency's child support award letter
• You will also need to live within the Zip Code of the Head Start Program location to be accepted
• Each child must have their immunizations up-to-date
• All children are required to have a complete medical check-up (physical) and dental check-up

They are open Monday-Friday from 8:00am-3:00pm.
